On August 17, 2021, the award ceremony of the Latvian Employers Confederation “Do and learn - everything has just begun!” took place, dedicated to honoring the best work-based learning and internship companies.

Vitalijs Gavrilovs, President of the Latvian Employers' Confederation, pointed out that entrepreneurs talk very purposefully with students of vocational education institutions, more and more often students become employees of entrepreneurs who have had internships and work-based training. It is gratifying that the indicator is being achieved higher and higher - students remain in companies and workplaces in Latvia after participating in projects and completing a vocational education institution.

As the best internship company in the Vidzeme region - the award was received by VALPRO SIA - one of the oldest and largest metal processing companies in Latvia, which offers its products in more than 33 countries around the world. The company has excellent cooperation with Riga Vocational School Nr.3 and Valmieras tehnikums, providing internships for mechatronic systems specialists and logistics specialists.
