One of the most important values of VALPRO is to provide the highest quality metal products and services both locally and internationally. To maintain the defined quality standard, the company has received quality system conformity certificates – UKCA certificate for fire extinguisher cylinders and TÜV certificate for fuel cans.

VALPRO fire extinguisher cylinders are manufactured according to customer requirements and standards set by industry authorities. In order to be exported and sold by clients in the UK, which left the European Union in 2020, VALPRO needed to undergo new certification.

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessment) certificate issued by Bureau Veritas UK certifies that the quality system (design, manufacture, final product inspection and testing) for the production of fire extinguisher cylinders manufactured by VALPRO meets the requirements of PESR 2016 (Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016). The certificate entitles VALPRO to mark and sell the manufactured cylinders with the UKCA 0041 mark in the UK.

Similarly to the cylinders, the production of cans is also subject to certain certificates that certify the quality of the product and the manufacturing processes. The TÜV certificate is one of the most recognised quality marks in Germany. VALPRO has been holding and renewing this certificate since 1996.

TÜV Rheinland Polska carried out an independent quality check of the cans. This included checking the quality system documentation, testing the cans and assessing their compliance with the requirements for the storage and transport of hazardous substances (fuels). The conformity of the instructions for the use of the cans and their accessibility to the consumer were also checked. The TÜV quality certificate confirms that the 5, 10 and 20 litre cans produced by VALPRO meet high quality standards. Find out more about VALPRO products here.
