18-19 August at J.Dalina stadium in Valmiera took place 40.Baltic Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport. Teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia competed in four fire sport disciplines. Guest teams from Czech Republic and Belorussia demonstrated their skills too, as well as women teams from Latvia and Estonia. Latvia finished anniversary championship with silver medal (1.place – Lithuania, 3.– Estonia).

“VALPRO” has successfully supported fire and rescue sport for many years already. The company’s Chairman of the Board handed VALPRO sympathy award to four guys from Lithuanian youth team, stressing out that our youth is our future!

During this championship, representatives of Latvian, Lithuanian and Belorussian SFRS (State Fire and Rescue Service) visited VALPRO factory and were presented with interesting facts about overall trends in fire extinguisher business and their most recent innovations.
